We are really glad that we have this great Family Platform for communicate with each other. As in charge of the “Garschagen Projects” site, as sites administrator, as member of this team and also as part of this great Family, we want to invite any Member that would like to participate and build a dedicated related language communicative site as Carina & Nina Garschagen have started in Portuguese.
We all know that we have individuals, families and relatives in many country of the world, and we speak many languages like: English, German, Portuguese, Spanish, Danish, Dutch, Italian, French and surely some others. So please join and we will create a dedicated a language site for.
The purpose is to collect as many documentation as possible and to collect and translate the many interesting information about our Clan and finally provide a great new “Garschagen Family Book”
We will divide the Book in different sections, one about the History (with pictures and original documents), one about our Genealogy (with all records about the family lines, and family branches), and another about all prominent people that did build and are still contributing to make our history so important and known.
We all know that this is really a lot of work to accomplish, so please join us.

To the 18 registered users 31 will join us in the next days. Great. That means that 49 registered users from the great Garschagen Family, especially our parents from Brazil are going to join our efforts to review our Family Book.

Hi All Garschagens
I want you to say something about what is going on and a little about how did all this start. I can speak about know very open because some people did trust me, even we do not know each other personally. You may ask: How comes?
Well after more then 10 years and even more I discovered that my person belong to a kinship that have ancient origin. For a long time my surname “Zirbs” did not mean anything special to me. It come the day my Grandmother told me the story of the “Garschagen”. It come the day I started to read our family book and something happened: I found that we all belong always to greater things even if we do not believe in anything.
One day I started to surf in the internet and started to see if the magic of being part of a greater thing could be reality. I searched about other people with the surname “Garschagen” and I found a very little advertisement about an old Doll that was being offered or searched by a person with the surname “Garschagen”. When I read that advertise I wanted to try to contact not because of the doll but just to see if I will get an answer.
Yes I got an answer and some questions why I was writing and who I really was. My answer to that mail was to explain in my broken English that I was looking for other Garschagens and my incomplete name was listed in a Book, “Die Sippe der Garschagen”. I add the number printed next my name on the page of my generation in the book, not even having an Idea what it really was meaning but with the hope on the other side of that email would understand.

The site Garschagen Genealogy is on line just 2 Days and I have already registered and update 167 members. There are about 1500 names and surnames that have to be registered and it will take time to finish that work.

A genealogy site for the Garschagen Clan online
With great happiness and joy I can announce that the Garschagen Genealogy site will be soon online. With this post I just want you to have an idea on how the Garschagen Pedigree will look. With the support of a very good software application: The Next Generation written by Darrin Lythgoe, I and with his great support will provide the “Garschagen Genealogy Site” soon online. Please contact me if you want to get an account and contribute to update our family genealogy data and also provide more documentation and spread the good news that we have such a great platform to enjoy new contacts and communication among our family members.
