To the 18 registered users 31 will join us in the next days. Great. That means that 49 registered users from the great Garschagen Family, especially our parents from Brazil are going to join our efforts to review our Family Book.

The site Garschagen Genealogy is on line just 2 Days and I have already registered and update 167 members. There are about 1500 names and surnames that have to be registered and it will take time to finish that work.

A genealogy site for the Garschagen Clan online
With great happiness and joy I can announce that the Garschagen Genealogy site will be soon online. With this post I just want you to have an idea on how the Garschagen Pedigree will look. With the support of a very good software application: The Next Generation written by Darrin Lythgoe, I and with his great support will provide the “Garschagen Genealogy Site” soon online. Please contact me if you want to get an account and contribute to update our family genealogy data and also provide more documentation and spread the good news that we have such a great platform to enjoy new contacts and communication among our family members.

To build a successfull online community deserve a lot of IT Knowledge and many other thinks. The “Garschagen Projects” is a very little community project because it involves mostly not more then 500 people of our Clan that have internet and online experience. Surely Marie Schmiedt and Karl Heinz Garschagen did not express theirs will and wish to us, for continuing the Work of Research for the completation and review of our Clan Family Book, imagining that this could be managed today with a Site and Database directly online.
This Idea surely comes up to many of you and seame happen to me in 1993 when I first started to have to do, for work, with the Internet. At that time my Knowledge where just mostly on Computer Systems like Windows (ME) and Mac (8.5). Up to present time I have sucessfull accomplished many IT courses especially in Server Technology and lately in Web-Development and Web-Design. So my basic Knowledge is quite professional and consistent for starting to think of an online Community for the Garschagens.

The Garschagen Projects is hosted on the garshagen.at domain. This domain will serve as supporting platform for all Garschagen’s Kinship allied individuals. If some of our family members do not have the economical and technical knowledge to have and manage a own Weblog, indipendently from any other Weblog Community and wish to build one can rely on the support of all Garschagens Members on this Domain.
